Um estudo correlacional

Resumo

Essa pesquisa verificou a existência de correlação entre o mindfulness e o uso problemático de internet (UPI) em brasileiros. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa de campo quantitativa realizada em ambiente virtual, da qual participaram 206 sujeitos. Os dados foram coletados através de um questionário online e processados por meio do SPSS. Verificou-se associações significativas inversas entre o UPI com escore total do mindfulness (ρ= -0,404; p<0,001) e com a maioria de suas facetas. Esses resultados trazem fortes indícios que intervenções baseadas em mindfulness sejam efetivas para a redução do UPI e contribui para a diminuir a defasagem de publicações sobre ambos os temas no contexto Brasileiro.
