Abstract

This article intends to be a contribution to a reading perspective that brings together Walter Benjamin’s critical reflection and the psychoanalytical theory. Namely, initiates from a symptomatic framework pointed out by Benjamin, the contradiction between technical means and social ends, characteristics of a capitalist society, framework which results in war and its perverse form of resolution, nevertheless, covers a set of factors and vectors that operate ratifying the given property and production relations. So, the outlines and implications of this arrangement will be centralised in a set of texts from the 1930s produced by Walter Benjamim. From the psychoanalytical side, it is about, based on psychopathology of fobia, as presented in Freud’s essencial interpretation of Little Hans Case, also in the Lacanian reinterpretation, building a reading key of Benjamin’s Critical Theory, through an opening field of resonance and interpretative solidarity between both theorical fields.
