Abstract

Gianni Vattimo, who is known by his philosophy of pensiero debole wherewith builds his critique of metaphysical objectivity, he regards that all metaphysics is violent because it claims an epistemology that denies the difference. Thinking with Nietzsche-Heidegger axis, Vattimo seeks the overcoming of this model through hermeneutics and his interpretation of Christianity. Conjugating the pensiero debole with the announcement of kenosis of God, Vattimo analyzes the aspect of the weakening of the judeo-christian message presented in the Western thought. This is derived the charity, Christian’s concept that demystifies all imposition of truth that is not the result of dialogue and consensus. The article’s aim is to demonstrate the hermeneutics way to overcome metaphysics by analyzing some of Vattimo’s works that approach this subject.
