The following article presents an artistic research in visual poetics developed between the years 2020 and 2022, during the Master's degree program. The research is based on the context of Postmodernity as motivation for artistic practice, mainly focusing on the phenomena of instability, ephemerality, and transitoriness imposed by the postmodern life condition. In this sense, the poetics serves as a guiding thread for the hybrid process between Crafts and technologies, intertwining analog and digital technologies attributed to manual techniques and technological devices, respectively. Aiming to associate distinct subjectivities in the use of each type of technology, the research establishes artistic installations using elements of Origami and images inspired by the Op Art movement. Thus, a displacement of the Origami technique into the artistic environment is achieved through the hybridization of paper surfaces with Op Art images, intending to redefine elements through the use of repetition and the creation of new visual information. Additionally, a revival of the aesthetic of Op Art images, situating them in the virtual environment, is undertaken, with the perspective of intensifying optical illusions through video animations. Analogies are also drawn between the research topics and Postmodernity, with the aim of creating a stronger connection in the processes of establishing the artworks with what drives artistic creation. The research sought to investigate hybrid processes and various technological types in the production of works that span the materiality and virtuality of compositional elements.
