Metanálise de pesquisas sobre qualidade de vida, saúde e bem-estar subjetivo no envelhecimento

Este artigo objetivou analisar as produções científicas referentes aos temas “qualidade de vida”, “saúde” e “bem-estar subjetivo” no envelhecimento, em algumas bases de dados num determinado corte de tempo. As produções encontradas foram analisadas conforme: idioma; ano; natureza da pesquisa; tipo de abordagem; procedimento técnico utilizado; desenvolvimento durante o tempo; quantidade amostral, tema principal da pesquisa, tipo de instrumento utilizado e qual instrumento foi utilizado. Das 126 produções analisadas, a base de dados que detinha de maior número foi a BVS (com 70 publicações), e o tema mais encontrado foi qualidade de vida (69%). A maior parte das foram de natureza observacional, abordagem quantitativa e de corte transversal, trabalhos de campo, com amostras de até 200 indivíduos. Os instrumentos mais utilizados para analisar a temática são MOS SF-36, WHOQOL-Bref, WHOQOL-Old, EuroQol-5D e MOS SF-12. A temática mais presente nas publicações sobre qualidade de vida e envelhecimento foi a sua associação com as doenças. As demais temáticas apareceram em menor número, dado que representa a pouca utilização de pesquisas sobre os demais temas utilizando de amostragem de apenas idosos, e de instrumentos de captação dos dados.
