Abstract

Given the importance of official regulatory texts (also) for the teaching of orality, this contribution of ours analyzes precisely what is proposed, for this domain, by curricular prescriptions of Pre-School Education and Basic Education. Globally, if the two documents analyzed seem to show considerable concern with skills related to the production and comprehension of oral texts, the lesser attention that seems to be attributed to the remaining (sub)dimensions suggests that the complexity of the oral has not yet been fully apprehended. And hence, all the items by which orality is composed are not yet being explored, in all their potentialities.
