Abstract

We present an introductory explanation with recent contributions from neo-systemic, post-Lumanian and
post-structuralist conceptual currents. We performed the identification and analysis in three parts. First,
a brief introduction to some of Luhmann's publications that directly address the study of organizations is
presented, as well as his theory and the subsequent debate it generated (first section). In the second section,
the recent dialogue based on the publications of Sociology and Philosophy is presented. In these we focus on
the society-state link, in which social constructivism appears as a nexus or transversal conceptual theoretical
instrument that allows the dialogue between the two distinct theoretical concepts. After that, some recent
neo-systemic and post-structuralist contributions are exposed. Finally, we stop to analyze the convergence
link of Actor-Network Theory with these conceptual currents.
