Abstract

The disappointment of intentions of anticipation can lead to a loss of familiarity with respect to the operating horizon, which is very interesting for any researcher. The non-fulfillment of such intentions, even if only for an instant, supposes a split between two meanings of the same thing where the expected one, the one that anticipates the parameters of a "proper" world according to our habitualities, contrasts with the emerged and unexpected one, which evidences the presence of an "alterity", of a "strange" or unforeseen world. This duplicity can be rethought as an opportunity to reflect on disappointment itself and its possibilities of estrangement, but also for self-recognition, a meeting where to question what underlies the formation of such intentions, and which speaks of that accumulated experience which is established as a network of relationships between the different aspects of what one is for oneself and of this in relation to the world one inhabits, as a community of meaning. In short, an opportunity to access an autoethnographic work that allows greater understanding of our way of living otherness.
