O enfrentamento espírita da pandemia do Covid-19

The article addresses the way how the Spiritists – the third major religious segment in the country – have faced the Codiv-19 pandemic. Therefore, it was made a comparison between Spiritists and no-Spiritists, especially the major religious groups of Catholics and Evangelicals, approaching respondents of a questionnaire applied at a distance. The no-Spiritists was used as control group. There was, also, data collection from the participants of three Spiritist centers of São Paulo, observing, for comparative purpose, the functioning of Catholic and Gospel temples nearby them, in addiction the data collection from the news and available from reliable sources on the internet. Practices of faith and solidarity in relation to vulnerable people in the pandemic context were analyzed, as well as some controversies related to the denial position of well-known individuals in this religious segment.
