Relación entre funciones ejecutivas y conducta en el Trastorno del Espectro Autista

Resumen

El Autismo se caracteriza por déficits en habilidades sociales, comunicación y comportamiento. Investigamos la relación entre medidas cognitivas y síntomas conductuales en 45 niños con TEA. Se encontraron correlaciones positivas entre la escala CARS y la gravedad del diagnóstico, así como con la parte A del test de trazos. La edad se correlacionó con la subescala de Retraimiento. La gravedad del diagnóstico se relacionó con las subescalas de Problemas de pensamiento y Problemas de atención. La socialización se correlacionó con el subtest de Vocabulario. Los niños mostraron niveles más altos de retraimiento. La gravedad del diagnóstico predijo el 16% de la puntuación de problemas de atención y el 11% de problemas de pensamiento
