This article aims to expose the different types of visual pollution present in the interfaces of digital vehicles, such as portals, blogs and APPs, which compromises the user's cognition, usability and consequently their user experience (UX). In the real world, there are already regulations that deal with visual pollution, as in the case of city streets, but not in the digital world, which is considered a free and lawless territory, and its developers do not always use common sense and good practices in relation to what to present to their audience, such as the amount of embedded advertising, banners, legibility aspects, visual stimuli, warnings, notifications, on-screen elements, volume and information architecture. This multidisciplinary study, which involves the areas of communication and design, seeks to highlight the current impacts of this problem of visual pollution in interfaces and its consequences for the user's journey, proposing a new approach in this scenario, indicating paths and solutions for their adaptation and evolution. It provides support for the discussion on the regulation of good practices, which aim to curb the disorders identified and complement, with this agenda, the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet and the current General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
