ABSTRACT: This article results from discussions developed in the Graduate Program in Language and Teaching at the Federal University of Paraíba about the relationship and interaction between the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC) and dialogical conceptions of language that, in our view, present a possible dialogue, even if the text of the Base does not explain the theoretical current adopted. In this sense, we start from the following question: how can we think the guidelines contained in the BNCC in light of the notion of enunciation expressed by Bakhtin's Circle? In order to glimpse possible answers, we aim to analyze how the notion of enunciate is addressed in the BNCC of EM when proposing the work with Portuguese Language. Therefore, the investigation will be carried out on two fronts: the first, to reflect on how the BNCC itself can be understood as enunciate; and the second how the document addresses this concept, regarding the teaching of Portuguese Language. As a theoretical basis, we rely on the contributions of Bakhtin and the Circle's Dialogical Theory of Language. As far as methodology is concerned, this is a documental, exploratory research. Therefore, the results indicate that when we propose relations between the BNCC and the dialogical approach to language, and when we reflect on concepts such as language, interaction, dialogue and the very notion of utterance, it is possible to understand the BNCC as a concrete utterance, a real unit of discourse, a dialogical act, which is, by nature, socially and historically situated.
