This article is part of a larger research that aims to investigation the aspects of the political experience of liberal exiles in Brazil, persecuted by the regime of D. Miguel between 1828 and 1837, during which time the king began a government averse to the changes of this time, which proposed the restoration of old order and the repression of liberals. Moment in which also unleashed the greatest Portuguese exile of the Eigth Hundred. In view of the persecution practiced, resistance to the king was forged abroad. Countries like England, Spain, France, Italy, for name just a few, and the Brazil, they became destinations at the time for many exiles. Once installed, they set out to defend constitucionalismo and liberal ideas. This text to contribute to the approach liberal exile, especially Portuguese liberal exile directed to Brazil, operated in a transnational and transatlantic dynamic.
