The inclusion of physiotherapists in Primary Health Care (PHC) remains a challenge for the current health model due to its recent expansion process. The consolidation of physiotherapists in this context depends on the creation of public policies that include both PC professionals and their recognition in the health work process. Time trend analyses can be an important ally in the evaluation of long data series, being useful for monitoring health information that can be used in planning and visualizing the impact of public policies. This is an ecological time series study on jobs for physiotherapists allocated to PHC establishments from 2008 to 2021, with data obtained from the CNES database. There was a percentage increase in the number of jobs in PHC in Brazil during the period analyzed. The Health Centers/Basic Health Units stand out, with an AAPC of 7.5% (CI: 6.4-8.7), and the Family Health Care Centers, with an AAPC of 23.4% (CI: 16.6-30.6).
