This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Maguerez Arch educational intervention on communication with healthcare professionals from the Family Health Strategy. This is an experience report regarding the implementation of an educational intervention mediated by the Maguerez Arch methodology on interprofessional communication, carried out in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, with 15 healthcare professionals. In the implementation of Maguerez Arch, the central problem identified through observation of reality was the lack of effective, systematic and periodic communication among professionals. The key points were listed, followed by the theorizing stage, hypotheses for solutions and application to reality. Training in communication skills, spaces that encourage dialogue and reflection on practices were considered potential in interprofessional communication. Maguerez Arch proved to be an effective educational tool, which enabled critical reflection on everyday practice, collaboration in the process of knowledge construction and encouragement for improving the micropolitical work process.
