Abstract

With the progress in the number of registered cases of HIV/AIDS and the changes noticed in the profile of the attacked population, educating in health becomes fundamental tool, permeating the practices developed by the professionals of health, one of the actors involved in the educational process of the care. The sense of Education in Health adopted in this work it is ruled in the critical perspective of educating tends in view the largest opening of the educational processes guided by the Popular Education - for besides the acquisition of information -, extolling the right to the health, the qualified attendance in HIV and the users' participation while subject of rights, with views to assist the user in an integral way. The present article has for objective to discuss current perspectives on the employment of the Education in Health as strategic contribution in the practices of health returned to HIV/AIDS - given to the new configurations that the same has been presenting in Brazilian reality -, detaching the paper of the team in this process.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Heloisa Helena da Silva Guedes, UFJF

Assistente Social, graduada na Faculdade de Serviço Social da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora/FSS-UFJF (2003), especialista em Política e Pesquisa em Saúde Coletiva /UFJF (2005), aluna do Programa de Mestrado em Serviço Social/FSS-UFJF (2008-2010). Possui experiência na área de Serviço Social, de Saúde Coletiva através da docência. Atualmente, desenvolve o estudo sobre as práticas em saúde desenvolvidas nos serviços de referência em HIV/AIDS no Município de Juiz de Fora/MG em dissertação de Mestrado.

Auta Iselina Stephan-Souza, UFJF

Possui graduação em Serviço Social pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1977), Mestrado em Serviço Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1982), doutorado em Saúde Pública pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (1996) e pós-doutorado pelo IMS/UERJ (2002). Atualmente é professora adjunta da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, leciona as disciplinas - Seminário de Pesquisa e Política de Saúde nos Mestrados de Serviço Social e de Saúde Coletiva, Política de Seguridade Social (Saúde) na graduação, coordena um projeto interdisciplinar de pesquisa sobre a Regionalização em Saúde na macrorregião Sudeste/MG, financiado pela Fapemig e participa de um projeto de pesquisa sobre a Integralidade: Acesso, Processo de Trabalho e Gestão Pública na atenção primária em Juiz de Fora, também financiado pela Fapemig. Tem experiência na área de Serviço Social e de Saúde Coletiva e apresenta estudos sobre os seguintes temas: Serviço Social e Saúde (Política de Seguridade, Trabalho em Saúde, Residência Hospitalar) e Saúde Coletiva (Regionalização, Integralidade, Acesso, Gestão do SUS, Interdisciplinaridade e Trabalho Coletivo).
