Resumo

Inglês: Digital epistemologies, cyberculture and the construction of personal multimodal narratives in the teaching and learning of English.
The aim of this paper is to present the development of a didactic proposal which approached the use of digital technologies applied to the construction of personal multimodal narratives for the teaching and learning of English in a federal technical high school. The theoretical framework is based on a brief literature review starting from Kress (2003, 2010), Lankshear & Knobel (2003), Levy (2004) up to recent publications, such as Benade (2015), Gibbons (2015) and Floridi (2015). After the analysis of the collected data, the results showed the students’ ability to deal with digital technologies, however, it can be noticed some discomfort related to the use of the spoken English language.
Keywords: teaching and learning of English; digital epistemologies; cyberculture; multimodality; high school.
