Resumen

Hace pocas décadas, la Psicología Evolutiva ha surgido como ciencia y diversificado sus temas de investigación, contemplando actualmente temas clásicos y emergentes de psicología. Aunque haya ocurrido una rápida expansión, sus bases teóricas siguen siendo incomprendidas. El objetivo de este trabajo es, por consiguiente, analizar los fundamentos epistemológicos y conceptuales de la Psicología Evolutiva, explicando cómo estas bases teóricas posibilitan una mirada integral de la mente y del comportamiento humano. Este articulo analiza cómo el funcionamiento mental evolucionado es necesario para comprender varios fenómenos psicológicos en el contexto actual. Por último, se presenta una perspectiva interaccionista de la psicología evolucionada y del aprendizaje.
