Perfiles de personalidad y apertura al mundo en padres brasileños

Resumen

Para identificar la relación entre los perfiles de personalidad del padre y la función paterna de apertura al mundo (AM), se evaluaron 171 padres de familias biparentales. A través del agrupamiento jerárquico, se crearon cuatro perfiles de personalidad según el modelo de los Cinco Grandes Factores, que se relacionaron con las dimensiones de AM paterna mediante el modelado de ecuaciones estructurales. Todos los perfiles mostraron alta amabilidad como factor protector para el ejercicio del rol paterno de AM, así como la presencia de conciencia fue un factor protector; mientras que la presencia moderada de neuroticismo fue un factor de riesgo para el aumento del castigo reportado por estos padres.
