El amor romántico evolutivo: el continuo rápido-lento del amor

Este artículo situó el amor romántico (AR) en la Teoría de la Historia de Vida (THV). En la THV el AR representa expresiones de determinada estrategia de supervivencia para la resolución de desafíos evolutivos en el continuo rápido↔lento. Las estrategias lentas representan un compuesto en la THV, o Factor-K que en las relaciones amorosas implica: socio-sexualidad restringida, ponderación/flexibilidad ante los conflictos, orientación futura, propensión a la parentalidad y estilo íntimo en las relaciones. Se sugieren estudios futuros direccionados a la operacionalización del Factor-K, apoyando su poder heurístico en la integración de las teorías del AR y en la articulación de la psicología social con referentes evolutivos para la comprensión de las interacciones románticas.
