Abstract

This study describes the processes of translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the instruments: Student Report of Teacher Context - short form and Engagement vs. Disaffection with Learning Student-report.  Participated four English language specialists and four judges. The items have shown near-perfect content validity coefficient values (0.80 - 1), except for two items that have shown substantial coefficient values (0.60 - 0.80). Have been applied to 51 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students (Μ= 10 years old) of Elementary School. There has been significant theoretical relevance regarding and levels of adequate comprehension of the items. Instruments are acceptable for future validation
