Parental gatekeeping e coparentalidade:

função protetiva do encorajamento e acordo coparental no comportamento infantil

Resumo

O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi investigar os efeitos do parental gatekeeping e da coparentalidade no comportamento de crianças. Participaram do estudo 447 mães e pais. Os modelos de regressão linear múltipla apontaram o parental gatekeeping e a coparentalidade como preditores dos comportamentos da criança. No parental gatekeeping, o encorajamento se mostrou promotor de comportamentos pró-sociais e atenuante de problemas na relação com pares, enquanto o desencorajamento foi promotor de problemas internalizantes. Quanto à coparentalidade, o acordo coparental atenuou os problemas externalizantes e dificuldades totais. Estes resultados reiteram o impacto das relações parentais no desenvolvimento infantil.
