Problemas emocionais e de comportamento em adolescentes do sul do Brasil

O estudo objetivou descrever problemas internalizantes e externalizantes em uma amostra não clínica de adolescentes, considerando as características sociodemográficas e das configurações familiares. Participaram 689 adolescentes com idades entre 11 e 18 anos (M=14,83; DP=1,84), sendo 57,9% do sexo feminino. Foi respondido um questionário sociodemográfico e o Youth Self Report (YSR). Foram realizadas análises descritivas e comparativas entre grupos, onde observaram-se efeitos de grupo nas variáveis idade, escolaridade e configuração familiar. Adolescentes mais velhos ou oriundos de famílias separadas relataram mais problemas emocionais e comportamentais. As evidências contribuem para desenvolver programas clínicos e educativos.
