Perfis de personalidade e abertura ao mundo em pais brasileiros

Para identificar a relação entre perfis de personalidade do pai e a função paterna de Abertura ao Mundo (AM), foram avaliados 171 pais de famílias biparentais. Por meio da aglomeração hierárquica, criou-se quatro perfis de personalidade segundo o modelo dos Cinco Grandes Fatores, que foram relacionados às dimensões de AM. Todos os perfis apresentaram alta amabilidade como fator protetivo para o exercício da função paterna de AM, assim como a presença de conscienciosidade foi fator de proteção; enquanto a presença moderada de neuroticismo foi um fator de risco pelo aumento de punição.
