Abstract

This paper intends to discuss the separation that is possible to notice between the Didactics of History and the Science of Education in Brazil, taking into account the history of History teaching in the country and the changes seen in recent years from the strengthening of debates and research inspired by the german Didactics of History, discussing the possible implications of this process in the formation of the teacher of history and its identity.
