Abstract

Our intention is to analyze affirmative and resistance processes that the school culture imposes to students of a Rio de Janeiro public high school through the authors’ experience as coordinating teacher and as interns. We focused in a class in which thesegregation between the students was notable, considering the educational phenomena as areas which should be investigated in their complexity and in their consequences in labor life.
