Abstract

The article aims to analyze the tensions and disputes around the field of abortion inside brazilian parliament in the 21st century, taking into account proposed legislative projects that promotes impact on social and political discussions on Reproductive Rights in Brazil. Therefore, the main protagonists disputing the discourse of "life" within the legislative sphere will be contextualized: political actors such as Pentecostal deputies, the mobilization of feminist movement and the performance of the executive power.
