Abstract

The  article  core  objective  is  to  accomplish  a  brief  discussion  of  the  diplomatic possibilities  and  peace  strategies  between  the  Brazilian  Empire  and  the  River  Plate  United Provinces  at  the  Cisplatin  Conflict.  For  that,  we  use  as  investigated  documentation  some diplomatic   correspondences   traded   between   the   foreign   business   ministers   of   both governments  under  mediation  of  the  English  representatives  and  preliminary  documents  that were  the  basis  of  the  Official  Essay  of  the  Preliminary  PeaceConvention,  held  on  August 29th,  1828,  document  that  sealed  the  war.  We  intend  to  board  the  different  diplomatic speeches headed by each on of the governments about the Cisplatin Province and overall the River  Plate  region,  as  well  as  the  borders  resolutions,  one  of  the  central  diplomatic  topics debated during the war outcome
