Abstract

The journal Faces de Clio is a student publication created by the students of the Graduate Program in History of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, aimed at disseminating research developed in postgraduate studies at universities in Brazil and abroad. Faced with the context of funding cuts in education and research that we are facing, for which the federal government is responsible, Revista Faces de Clio, demonstrating resistance to continuing the dissemination of science, is pleased to publish its 6th edition -dez of 2017), whose dossier theme is: "Political Transitions in Brazil". The proposal is to analyze different regimes and systems of government regarding the process of change between them. In addition to the political phenomenon, there is an interest in social thinking, reflecting on values, expectations, group ideals in different conjunctures, analyzing their adaptations.
