Rachel de Queiroz from 1910 to 1964

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the intellectual trajectory of the writer from the city of Rachel de Queiroz (1910-2003) from the memory built by herself and by third parties, especially with regard to the period between 1930 and 1964. She intends, therefore, to problematize the complexity, ambiguities and paradoxes of the political action of one of the most important Brazilian intellectuals of the twentieth century.
