Abstract

This paper intends to show some of the paths taken by three cartoonists of the illustrated magazine Careta, of national circulation, to promote a libertarian speech against Hitler's Nazism during World War II. Working with the cartoons brought to light sources that are an alternative way of Brazilian cultural resistance to align the country with European dictatorships of the period.KEYWORDS:Nazism; Adolf Hitler; cartoons
