A Tese da via colonial e a forma de entificação do capitalismo hiper-tardio no Brasil

Abstract

Limiting itself to an immanent analysis of José Chasin's work, especially his texts about the critique of politics and his doctoral thesis about Plínio Salgado's integralism, this article intends to analyze the notion of the colonial path elaborated by the brazilian philosopher and marxist as an explanatory category for the specificity of the entification of capitalism in Brazil, demonstrating that brazilian capitalism constitutes a hyper-late formation, marked by colonial heritage, the persistence of large landholdings, and subordination to central economies. In this context, integralism is understood not as a simple peripheral variant of European fascism, but as a regressive ideological expression proper to this social formation, characterized by an anti-modernizing and ruralist proposal. This work also intends to highlight Chasin's critique of politicization and the autonomization of the political, reaffirming the centrality of political economy for understanding social totality. Finally, the relevance of the critique of politics and metapolitics as theoretical foundations for understanding the limits and possibilities of an emancipatory praxis in Brazilian reality is discussed.
