The objective of this work is to present the experience of PET/Saúde students in a cycle of interdisciplinary articulation activities carried out in the Health Program in the rural area of Petrolina-PE. The selected classes were the 5th, 6th and 7th year of elementary school, with students aged ten to 15 years old, and the themes were worked on in six meetings with active methodological approaches. The practice acquired by the academics enabled greater interdisciplinary learning and performance, since this experience allowed for the acquisition of new learnings and experiences never offered by the university, allowing it to be a space for learning and having a different perspective on the other's profession. The experience with interprofessional work is motivating for the development of skills in the creation of collaborative practices, in addition to covering a set of dimensions that range from previous experiences, to greater flexibility and creativity for new experiences.
