Abstract

This article offers an update regarding some concepts of Popular * Education generally and for Health. The author, based on personal experience in primary care service provision offers some areas of opportunity for education and their attainment through emancipative health education activity. These are based on the principles of Popular Education with a view of its complexity. She discusses the opportunities for individuals and groups for formal or informal participation, and educational activities in daily life. She recognizes the role of Popular Education for Health in discussing changes in ways to call attention to the need for basic health care.
