Borboletas Ithomiinae (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) da Reserva Biológicas D’Anta (Juiz de Fora, MG)

Abstract

Eighteen species of Ithomiinae (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) butterflies, representing 14 genera and eight tribes, are recorded from the Reserva Biológica do Poço D’Anta (RPA) and surroundings, Juiz de Fora, southeastern Minas Gerais. Using this
“total” to predict the overall butterfly species biodiversity, I reached a preliminary figure of 302- 529 species for the RPA.
