Abstract

Cinema represents reality and constructs discourses capable of influencing and transforming the social imaginary, creating and recovering characters that heteropatriarchal society has discriminated against and made invisible. It is proposed to observe how women are currently participating in the film industry, with new thematic content and with their own vision, where the importance of female film directing is highlighted. The objective is to recognize the feminine perspective in the construction of a character: The lesbian image through the vision of three contemporary directors.
