Abstract

Considered by film critics, through a solid film production and an important filmography on gender issues, in this interview Ana Carolina deconstructs this view and verbalizes disagreements and resentments on general issues about the dynamics of "power", an issue that she points out here as social and political in all her work. Outlining a relevant analysis of the trajectory of film production in Brazil, from the Military Dictatorship until today, and commenting on the public policies surrounding the audiovisual sector, the filmmaker does not spare criticism and undoes analyses on her films and on her trajectory.
