Abstract

Given the fact that science fiction has a lot to offer as far as helping social interpretations, the following article intends to show the correlation of the movie Blade Runner as a cultural product of a supposedly postmodern condition, and if this were a way a proving it, according to the thought at the time of its release. The arguments are based on authors on the subject, such as Fredric Jameson, Jean-François, Lyotard, Zigmunt Bauman, David Harvey, and especially, Jean Baudrillard.
