4) Considerações sobre a estrutura sintática das construções com verbos psicológicos

Resumen

Inglês: The aim of this paper is to analyze a well defined aspect of psychological verbs – the fact that only certain psychological predicates undergo syntactic alternation. The analysis examines Brazilian Portuguese facts and proposes that (1) there is a direct correlation between the possibility of obtaining the syntactic a lternation and the possibility of obtaining both the causative and resultative interpretations, (2) there is a direct correlation between the causative or resultative interpretation, on the one hand, and correferential or non-corre ferencial status of the NP arguments involved in the construction, on the other hand, respectively.
