9) Emergência do futuro perifrástico no português carioca: o princípio da marcação

Resumo

Inglês: This paper deals with the actuation of the functional principle of markedness in the Brazilian Portuguese Language of Rio de Janeiro. It f ocuses the evolution and change of verbal future, more specifically, the grammaticalization process of periphrastic construction. Three variants will be analyzed: the synthetic future, the periphrastic future and the present with future reference. It was confirmed that the origin of the periphrastic future is correlated with the changes in the frequency, cognitive accessibility and formal complexity values, thats to say, with the inversion of marked values.


Tradução: trabalho problematiza a atuação do princípio funcional da marcação. Focaliza a variação e mudança do futuro do presente no português carioca e discute, mais especificadamente, o processo de gramaticalização da forma perifrástica. São analisadas três variantes: futuro sintético, futuro perifrástico e presente com referência futura. Confirmou-se que o processo que origina o futuro perifrástico correlaciona-se a mudanças nos valores da freqüência, da acessibilidade cognitiva e da complexidade formal, ou seja, à inversão dos valores da marcação.
