This study aimed to assess the level of tourism supply development in three Regional Governance Instances (RGIs) in Minas Gerais, Brazil, based on the characterization of tourism resources, attractions, and tourism products according to the perception of key destination stakeholders. Grounded in the concepts of resources, attractions, and tourism products, the research adopted an exploratory-descriptive approach, collecting and organizing information on tourism supply elements within the analyzed regions. The final sample comprised 435 observations, classified according to motivation factors, degree of specialization, and categorization as resources, attractions, or tourism products. The results revealed a predominance of sociocultural resources (75.2%) over natural resources (24.8%), with significant differences among the regions. Serras de Ibitipoca stood out for its strong presence of natural resources and greater diversification of specialized tourism products, while Malhas do Sul de Minas showed a more balanced distribution of resources and Caminho Novo was characterized by a concentration of historical and cultural elements. The study concludes that the regions possess resources and attractions with significant potential for tourism differentiation; however, greater structuring and specialization are required to consolidate them as competitive tourism products.
