Abstract

The relation between soap operas and the railway tourism in brazil is the tematic of this paper. This study is exploratory and descriptive, being carried out through bibliographic research, collection and organization of secondary data. The selected casewas in Maria Fumaça Campinas at São Paulo State, which has already served as the setting for several soap operas such as the Government ofthe State of São Paulo (2009), the website of the operator Maria Fumaça Campinas (2019) and sites such as Guia doViajante (2019). For a geographical view of the case study, the software QGis 3.8 Zanzibar was used, while for textual analysis (Similitude Analysis, Factor Analysis of Correspondence and Word Cloud) it was used for the software Iramuteq version 0.7 alpha 2.
