Relações entre autocompaixão e marcadores fisiológicos de estresse: revisão sistemática da literatura

Padrões de respostas fisiológicas de estresse podem ser influenciados pela Autocompaixão que pode ser protetiva ao indivíduo. Essa revisão sistemática buscou sintetizar evidências sobre a relação entre Autocompaixão e biomarcadores de estresse (cortisol, Alfa-amilase, Interleucina-6, frequência cardíaca, variabilidade da frequência cardíaca e pressão sanguínea). As bases PubMed, PsycINFO, Scopus e Cochrane foram buscadas, sem restrição de língua e até janeiro de 2022. Os achados relativos a 11 estudos fornecem evidências que apoiam a hipótese de que a Autocompaixão é protetiva em relação ao estresse fisiológico. Devido às limitações metodológicas dos estudos revisados são necessárias pesquisas mais rigorosas sobre o tema.
