O verdadeiro self em Winnicott e a questão da identidade

O tema da identidade tem sido abordado criticamente por diversas disciplinas, representantes do chamado pós-estruturalismo, inspiradas no descentramento freudiano do sujeito. Neste artigo, investigamos a noção winnicottiana de verdadeiro self com o intuito de apontar para uma alternativa à postulação do psicanalista inglês como antagonista da desconstrução operada pela abordagem pós-estruturalista das identidades. Associado ao postulado do núcleo incomunicável do self como uma instância indisponível à relacionalidade com objetos objetivos, o verdadeiro self advém tanto como representante de uma experiência primordial de indeterminação, na qual a distinção entre eu e outro estão fundamentalmente excluídas, quanto como instância resistente à determinação identitária característica da relação com objetos objetivos.
