Abstract

The present article proposes a study about primary sources and its knowledges, pretending to put them as part of the social memory’s reconstructions displacing through time, apart from the past. This article draws on as tools photographies and music scores located in the private archive of Mater Verbi’s choir – the second oldest Brasilian boys choir in activity, created in 1953 and placed in the city of Juiz de Fora (MG).  Aplying the social memory, history of the present and old/new media concepts inserted into the archive studies, this article intends along its tools to think about the intercessions between photography and music in temporality relations, considering new outlines of recollection.
