Abstract

The idea that gives shape to this article is the combination of the testimonies of five Palestinian women - either born there or descendants of Palestinians who were forced to leave their home, their belongings, their floor - to compose a mosaic in which they can be read not only the suffering and struggle of these people, their heroic resistance over the past hundred years, but also what these women have built, through words - and despite everything - with their daily work, their activism and their art.
