Abstract

Painting the stories of post-colonial Mozambique, Cassi Namoda, a young artist from Mozambique, who lives between Los Angeles and New York, reflects on the relationships established in her country of origin. In his works we see mainly women portrayed in their complexities. Thus, this essay intends a brief exposition and sociological reading about his works as a rising immigrant artist.
