Resumen

The text demonstrates the intersection of the biographiesof a specific period of Federico García Lorca’s poeticproduction and of Salvador Dalí’s pictorial work with anemphasis on Lorca’s poem ‘Ode to Salvador Dalí’ andDalí’s picture ‘Honey is sweeter than blood’. Thereforeit is possible to explain some of the various symbolicelements present in the origins of surrealism and in thepainter’s and the poet’s respective works.
