Contribution to the construction of the categories – young person and youth: an introduction

Resumen

To define the time of youth and the young person means to understand these categories as being historical and cultural. This presupposes an understanding that young people and youth are distinct in time and space. This study aims to delimit these categories in their movement through time demonstrating how both are loaded with meanings that denote specific moments of social history.
