Abstract

This issue of LOCUS: Revista de História indicates the plurality of studies in relation to images, including the History of Art, History of the Americas, Communication, gender and art, etc., and equally consolidating the importance and emergence of studies in the multiform field of images both at UFJF and UFRB, places where the discipline is vibrant and integral to contemporary transformations with the rigor necessary for studies. The articles that make up this edition are in their entirety complex thoughts and unique contributions to different fields of image study.
